Anthony Rudman
Tony studied art at Medway and Newport colleges of art, achieving a 1st Class Hons Degree in Fine Art.
His work has included many and varied private and public commissions, including; artist impressions to accompany architectural submissions, a ceramic installation for Toveys shop, commercial and private murals, portraiture, a journalistic photograph assignment, colour preparation and analysis for the National Gallery, research work into metameric qualities of modern art materials for Nottingham Trent University imaging department- leading to a major exhibition- and much more.
The work currently displayed on this web site represents his figurative work and was produced in the wet summers of 2008-9. He chose to concentrate on scenes around his home city to support the teaching he was undertaking at that time in the City of Bristol College. He has also included a few images of his ceramic and photographic works. Tony works from life.
